Topic #9 ADD and ADHD: Thomas Baum, musician and meditation instructor, and Micha Dickson, fine arts student at Niagara County Community College discuss how complementary health therapies can benefit those with ADD and ADHD.

During the interview, Baum and Dickson revealed how food and the environment effect these particular medical conditions. They explored the behavior patterns of each condition and why maintaining a good and healthy diet is important for people with the conditions. They also recommended that patients should notify their doctors when practicing complementary therapies.

 Thomas J. Baum’s formal training is that of a musician. He has been teaching for 13 years and is now currently working at Pro Music Lessons in Clarence NY where he has been for the last 3 years.
 Thomas is also teaching classes on Indigo Children all over Western NY, which focuses on alternative therapies for ADD and ADHD. Starting this Fall in addition to teaching Indigo Children classes, Thomas will be teaching classes in Meditation, and acting as a Reiki Practitioner at Mother Earth Studio in Lockport NY.






                          Michele Dickson


 Michele Dickson, originally from New Mexico, is one of many talents ranging from Painting, Sculpting, Reiki, Healing Touch, Meditation, Singing, Yoga, and making Jewelry.
Michele will be teaching workshops at Mother Earth Studio in Lockport, which will include Drum Circles, Indigo Children, Meditation, Sweat Lodge and Chakra Workshops.
Michele brings a sense of warmth and compassion to everything she does
