The Monroe Institute® is a non-profit 501(c) (3) educational and research organization dedicated to the exploration of human consciousness, and is internationally known for its work with audio sound patterns that can have dramatic effects on states of consciousness. This patented audio-guidance technology is known as Hemi-Sync®. The Monroe Institute is devoted to the premise that focused consciousness contains definitive solutions to the major issues of human experience. Greater understanding of such consciousness can be achieved through coordinated research efforts using an interdisciplinary approach. The results of such research efforts are meaningful only if there are practical applications—something of value for our contemporary culture.
