Topic:  What to look for in a repair shop for your Auto

This article is written in response to questions that I have been asked after my clients have had an accident and need their vehicle repaired. I interviewed Tom Subject of Joe Basil Chevrolet.  Tom gave me a list of 10 items to look for in a repair shop.

10 TIPS FOR CHOOSING A REPAIR SHOP

1.APPEARANCE OF THE FACILITY

2.YEARS OF OPERATION (HOW LONG IN BUSINESS)

3.TRAINED TECHNICIANS AND LICENSING  (I.E. ASE, 1-CAR, FACTORY CERTIFICATION)

4.KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF

5.STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT

6.GUANANTEE WORKMANSHIP IN WRITING

7.LOANER VEHICLES

8.AFFILIATED WITH BBB AND AAA

9.SECURE LOCATION

10. REPUTATION

Also, I tell my insureds when picking out a repair shop to ask their friends which repair shop they used. By asking your friends, you will be able to pick the best repair shop for you.   By using the list provided by Tom Subjeck , and your friends opinions, you the customer will be able to pick the best repair shop to perform the complete work on your vehicle.
