Tim Stevenson was born and raised in the Western New York area. After graduating from Amherst Central High School, he received his Bachelors of Arts Degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta and his Masters of Science Degree in Counseling from UB. He has been involved in sales and marketing, as well as business management, for several area companies, mostly dealing with technical sales. Over the past several years, Tim began to lose friends and family members to Alzheimers and other age related medical problems. He became involved in the problems people run into as their parents age and experienced, first hand, the support systems to help people. In 2009 Tim went through the New York State Ombudsman training course at the Red Cross and started the business “HELP FOR SENIORS WNY”. The goal is to make it easier to understand the options available and pinpoint the specific resources, in order to get the best help. Currently Tim is a member of the Network In Aging of Western New York, a Niagara Hospice Volunteer and active in raising his three children.
