Life, Accident & Health Pre-licensing (LAH) insurance courses are approved by the NYS Insurance Department under Section 2103(a) for training applicants to take the agents licensing exam for Life, Accident & Health insurance. LAH Pre-licensing is offered days or evenings and can be completed in as little as three and a half days.

The Professional Skill Center currently offers open enrollment courses in preparation for the NASD Series 6 & 63 as well as 7 & 63 exams.
A Series 6 license is required to sell investment company or variable contract products. Topics cover: securities and securities markets; investment companies; prospectus regulation; annuities and variable contracts, retirement plans, etc.
A Series 7 license covers the same products as Series 6 and in addition allows the sale of stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds, municipal securities, direct participation programs or other types of securities. Topics covered include: equity, debt and special securities, US government, agency and money market securities; margin regulation, etc.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Registration: It is important to reserve your seat early as all classes have enrollment limits. Payment: Due before start of class. MasterCard, Visa, personal check, company check accepted. Refund Policy: We reserve the right to change scheduling or cancel courses with a full refund. No refunds after three days prior to course start date. Contract Classes: The Professional Skills Center schedules classes, upon request, on-site or on campus for groups or businesses with special needs. Additional Charges: There will be a $5.00 charge for additional copies of course completion documents after the first one.
